Some very exciting things are happening in the next few months:
1) Walk the Seawall!
Join me, my clients, and our family and friends for a fun, social, energizing walk around the seawall.
Saturday April 12th
Meet at Starbucks at Denman and Davie.
Everyone is welcome, and you are welcome to join us for the whole seawall (10 km), or cut through if/when needed.
Please RSVP with me so I know who to expect.
2) New Class at the YWCA- "Movement and Mobility"
Join me on Wednesday mornings starting May 7th 2014 for an awesome new class! It will run from 7:45 am – 8:30 am.
The format will be:
10-15 minutes of mobility. This means moving the body through it's full range of motion. Helping with posture, athletic performance, and aches and pains.
The Movement part of the class will be cardio and strength mixed, designed for all levels of participants. There will be a nice long stretch to finish off.
3) Wednesday May 14th @ 5:15 pm- Why All Women Should Lift Weights
If you missed this talk the first time around, here is your chance to come out and get some up date information on why weight lifting is great for body shape, disease prevention, preventing falls etc. I can't wait to demystify again how and why lifting weights won't make you bulky. You won't be disappointed with the amount of information and 'how to's' you will receive in this talk. If you attended last time, feel free to share this with family and friends.
4) Women on Weights Training Program.
If you are still unsure about technique, form, how to put together a weights workout, how to warm up and cool down, and how to stretch and foam roll then this program is for you. Maximum registration is 10 participants, and the spots will fill up fast, so make sure you get yours by sending me an e-mail!
Dates: Saturday May 24th 9:30 am- 10:30 am OR
Wednesday May 21st 6:30 pm- 7:30 pm

5) On May 31st from 1pm-4 pm Laura Hillier and I will be speaking about METABOLISM AND HORMONES and how our exercise and nutrition are affected by them. The details are being finalized, but mark this day in your calendar and I will send more soon! The event will take place at APT Studios in Kitsilano.
I will also be running a 6 week Kettlebell training program at another location downtown. Kettlebells are an amazing workout, helping you burn up to 20 calories per minute, while strengthening all the muscles of the body. There is nothing like it really!! If you are interested in using Kettlebells and are available on Monday's at 11:00 am, send me an e-mail!
